The first Thursday of each month we organize our Latino Town Hall where different organizations that serve the Latino community in Philadelphia meet online to share resources, improvements and come up with solutions to better serve our community.

Juan Luis Alcalá Zermeño es un Neurólogo originario de Guadalajara, México. Después de terminar su especialidad en la Clínica Mayo de Minnesota, se mudó a Philadelphia donde actualmente está terminando su segundo año de subespecialidad en Epilepsia en Thomas Jefferson University. Juan Luis Alcalá Zermeño is a neurologist originally from Guadalajara, Mexico. After completing his specialty at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, he moved to Philadelphia where he is currently finishing his second year of subspecialty training in Epilepsy at Thomas Jefferson University. |

También nos dirá como actuar en una crisis convulsiva y aclarará muchos mitos que existen alrededor de la epilepsia. EPILEPSY. What is it? What isn't it? Juan Luis Alcalá Zermeño will speak to us about the general aspects of Epilepsy, a very common disease that unfortunately is little known in the general population. He will also tell us how to act in a seizure crisis and clarify many myths that exist about epilepsy. |
